About Barleigh Fine Prints

Barleigh Fine Prints (“Barleigh”) is the print sale division of Barleigh Graphic Design Ltd.

Barleigh has been established to represent the work of UK photographers, and in particular, we exclusively sell the work of Quentin Bargate LRPS.

We thought we’d ask Quentin to say a bit more about Barleigh Fine Prints

“I am delighted that Barleigh Fine Prints has agreed to represent my work through this site, which is the culmination of many months hard work by me and by Barleigh.

Barleigh’s aim is to make available to you, at an affordable price, prints of a high standard, both colour and monochrome

My Philosophy

My photography reflects my diverse interests in landscape and the natural world, mainly from the UK, and also a more recent interest in studio work.

I work in both colour and black & white, and with both traditional film (mainly large format) and with digital capture.

I decided at the outset that “good enough” prints would not be “good enough” for me -or for you! Barleigh and I therefore put together a complete system to produce prints of the highest possible quality, using archival inks and long life media.

The system Barleigh have set up will be used also to sell the work of other UK-based photographers in due course.

About the Prints

Prints are produced digitally, on Epson professional wide format printers, using pigment inks designed for long display life. The colour prints display a vibrancy and accuracy that comes from the use of complex (and expensive) colour matching hardware and software.

The black and white prints have a subtlety of tone that is best appreciated first-hand.

You can browse prints, and (once you are registered and logged in to the site) you can call up enlarged images for closer inspection, and view some more details about each print.

Then, just pick a print size, and add it to your shopping basket – it is that simple!”

Barleigh Fine Prints offer a full, secure, online ordering and payment system that accepts all major credit cards. It is authorised by Worldpay. All prints are sold subject to Barleigh Fine Prints standard terms and conditions.
