horticulture and the natural world inspired him to specialise

| Maggie Bruce BSc MRPharmS
Maggie was an enthusiastic amateur photographer for many
years before deciding to relinquish the trials and tribulations
of her science-based career in the Health Service to concentrate
on the more artistic side of her personality. Maggie has an
HNC in Digital Imaging and Photography.
Maggie photographs all kinds of subjects within a natural
setting. Her most recent interest is the capture of unusual
objects and their subsequent composition into digital montage
images.
Maggie's photography is hindered by the time she spends in
the wild expanse at the rear of her house (aka garden) and
protecting the rapidly diminished range of plants from the
cute but rampaging deer which are frequent visitors.

| Annie Haycock
Annie wanted to study animals in East Africa when she grew
up, but it was not until 1988, after 15 years of working with
domestic animals, that she managed a career change that allowed
her to study all sorts of wildlife. Birds, bats, butterflies,
badgers, bumblebees, botany and others have all come under
her scrutiny at some time or other.
She photographs and writes about all aspects of nature, both
at home and abroad. The joy is being with wild animals in
their own environment: the photograph is the icing on the
cake.
